DO NOT USE THIS CON MAN ! ! !

On 06.04.2010 an Air Conditioner Technician was scheduled to come to my home, and inspect my Air Conditioning Unit. I was told that the amount for the inspection was going to be $34.95, plus tax. During his inspection, the technician had mentioned to my son and myself that the capacitor could use an exchange soon.

He said that if the part is left as is, it could cause future problems with the Air Conditioner. I asked my son what he thought, and my son agreed with me, that we could not afford it at the moment. We told the technician that I was on a fixed & limited income, and that he should NOT install the part just yet. He then said that he was going to clean the unit, in which he apparently took it upon himself to install the capacitor anyway. A short while later while my son was getting ready for work,

the technician came back in (would not wait for my son to get out of the shower) and handed me the invoice to sign. I asked him if he could write the name of the

part on the bottom corner of the invoice so that, when we could afford it, we would call Abode Air and have the technician exchange that specific part. He said, " Not a problem". Due to the fact that I have Macular Degeneration and am considered legally

blind, and my son was in the shower, I trusted the technician and signed the invoice which I was told would be $34.95 plus tax. He wrote my Visa Card Number down, but he also added an amount of $230.39 for a

Capacitor. Again, we had made it very clear to him, NOT to install this part. At this time we are very disappointed, and feel taken advantage of. This person, although advised differently, supposedly, still went ahead and

installed the part and added $230.39 to the invoice.

Knowning that my son was not in the room, and that I cannot see well. When my son returned home from work, he asked to see the invoice, and that is when we realized that the technician had added $230.39 plus tax to the bill.

These dead beats have hired a telemarketing firm to hype their business. The telemarketers do not heed the National No-Call list. They are overbearing - unprofessional, and rude! This telemarketing company along with Abode Air need to be stopped. They are nothing but SCUM! Read the rest of the reviews!

Unprofessional and unqualified technicians and manager to run the company, taking adavantage of consumers for recommending unnecessary repair and maintenance, and tampering the HVAC systems with no back up services to correct their mistakes.
