Called a few places and A Plus was decently priced for removing a big limb hanging over my house fall of 2015. The owner seemed very friendly so I used them. A few weeks went by along with some excuses of why they couldn't show up but I wasn't in a hurry and I'm pretty laid back so no biggie. They showed up eventually and had to remove a neighbor's fence and my fence to get a lift to the tree. The neighbor's house had been unoccupied for over a year but coincidentally showed up that day and was not happy about A Plus driving heavy equipment over his septic field. Later that day A Plus asked for payment (and I even gave him a cash tip) and said they'd be back the next day to fix the fence and remove the big stumps and logs. They never showed up again, after multiple calls to Nick he kept promising me that I was "on the schedule" but now when I call he answers as "Paul" or just pretends not to hear me and keeps saying "hello?" until he hangs up. Very unprofessional, don't understand it.

on Oct. 1 I called a well known McHenry tree service to remove a small tree in my back yard. The owner came out and gave 2 prices; one for removal right away and 1 if I waited 3 or 4 wks. I waited 6 no date. Frustrated with this company led me to call A-Plus. Again the owner came out gave me a price equal to the lesser price of the other company, so I asked when he could do it. He said the next day, they showed up on time; finished the job and cleaned up very nicely, so and

We liked and trusted Nick from the first moment he arrived to give us an estimate! Nick and his crew spent 4 days at our home, cutting down a HUGE Maple tree in our yard, and cutting some limbs off our neighbor's tree. They also did stump grinding to eliminate our tree stump. They are reliable, careful, and professional. They did an incredible job from start to finish - including clean-up. We will recommend them to everyone we know. Our son will be buying his first home soon, and, should he need tree work done at his new place, Nick will be the ONLY person we call! My neighbors couldn't believe how accurate and methodical this team was. They have had other services in the past (more expensive without knowing the business as an art) and noticed a HUGE difference in Nick's knowledge, and thorough cleanup. This company does amazing work! They are super friendly and take the time to talk and explain what they are doing. Very careful and take time to do the work the correct way! The clean up after was awesome!!!!!

Working with Nick was a pure pleasure . Very accommodating . Com ed really cut back a tree in my yard and main branches were leaning into my yard. In safe and tree was splitting in the middle . I was very pleased when I came from work to find that Nick had cut down my entire tree and left absolutely nothing to clean up! Other than the spot where the truck came from the ground, you couldn't even tell there was ever a tree there! Then he noticed that my oak tree had too many suckers on it which would endanger it, so he cleaned that up too. I would absolutely recommend him.
