Club at Mediterra is the first certified 36-hole Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary in the world. The club has a designed championship golf course limited to only 450 golf memberships and has a state-of-the-art learning center. It includes a Sports Center consisting of fitness equipment, an aerobics and dance studio, multi-use meeting space, a full-service spa, a tennis pro shop and locker rooms. Collier Building Industry Association has named the club Collier County's Community of the Year for five times since its opening in 2001. In 2002, Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and Golf Digest magazine honored the club as the Environmental Leader in Golf Award in the private course category.
