I went to the salon at Coconut Point. Mall today, and had a horrible experience. I went in for full color and root coverage plus I wanted a brighter color of blond. I also asked for a stacked, inverted bob. I still have one inch of dark and gray roots, the color is dull and not what I asked for, especially surprising because I pointed out the exact color I was looking for on a girl who works there. I don't have a stacked, inverted bob, but rather a standard bob. I nicely expressed by disatisfaction and was offered the option of staying for another hour to fix things, but I had already been there for 4 hours already, and had to get home. Then I was offered another appointment but the stipulation was that it had to be with the same girl, otherwise I would have to pay for it. I expressed my disatisfaction with this idea and was reminded that I DID get the first color without being charged. The part they don't get is that my time is precious. After 4 hours in a salon I should look dynamite, and someone else besides the desk manager should have been able to take a look at my hair, see that it was improperly done and offer me a free fix with someone more competent. Instead I had to haggle about it, making me and the stylist, who was a nice gal, uncomfortable. I am sorry to say that this salon has gone down hill over the years. I've been there 5 or 6 times over the years and have been satisfied with the cut and color work of several girls. The stations, though, are starting to look dingy and stained with color. When this type of things start to happen at a salon it indicates lack of professionalism and care. Anyway, thanks for listening. I know I sound like a bitter customer, but really, I am bummed that I don't love my hair after wasting 4 hours of my life and that I had to have an unpleasant back and forth conversation.

I've always been very hesitant and scared to get anything done to my hair due to horrible past experiences but I have been going to Felix Andrews salon for about 3 years now and I would have full confidence with any of the girls there! I've seen 3 girls there and every time they do an absolutely amazing job with color, cuts, and make-up. They know what to suggest and I trust them enough that when they make suggestions for enhancing a cut or color I let them do what they think is best! I've been seeing Ruthie, she's phenomenal, but everyone is just as professional!
