Charlie Glenk was recommended by a friend of a friend for a remodel project and wish I had done more research on him. He had an excuse for everything and made every effort to go to the house and work when I was unable to be there. He had his brother do work that he was paid for and suppose to do and his brother did a horrible job and damaged my walls in the process while replacing door casings. Not to mention cracking the door jam and putting a piece of wood in there to fix it. They do shotty work at best - and for someone who claims he is a carpenter- the pictures show how crappy the work is.Charlie was also hired to install windows and they left them dirty and did not even install the screens. No effort put in at all. He left garbage everywhere and did not clean up after himself. At the end of the project he charged me $ 2,000.00 for his time which was never discussed ! I paid it to get my Cert of Occupancy and just be done with him. Use ANYONE else but him for your projects or you will spend money having someone else come in and fix his mistakes ! He gives you one price then tries to charge you another ! Very disappointed and surprised at how unprofessional he is. If I was not close to getting my CO when I realized how I had made a mistake in hiring him- I would have changed contractors for sure. Never offered to fix mistakes or credit me for having to repair.
