Hess Collection Winery manufactures wines, brandy and brandy spirits. The winery has several collections of wines including the Hess Estate, Hess Select, Atezin and New World Wines. The Hess Collection Winery's original vineyards are planted on Mount Veeder and support the Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon program. On this steep, rocky terrain on the southernmost mountain in the Mayacamas Range, the vineyards produce grapes of exceptional quality. The winery has more than 250 acres on Mount Veeder that are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The winery was founded by Donald Hess and opened in 1989. It is located in Napa, Calif.
