Hello my name is Sonia, I own and operate a small in home licenced childcare. Ohana Childcare And Preschool is quality childcare. As a mother of five children, I know how difficult it is too find Reliable and a trustworthy provider. I have worked for the school district as well as three daycare centers. I am certified in Pediatric/Adult CPR, First Aid, and Health Prevention. I have taken all Early Child Development and Education classes. I have cleared all Background Checks. As a childcare provider I believe all children have their own unique way of learning and it is my job to find out what that may be, children learn through dramatic play, imagination, exploration, and through socialization. Here at (Ortiz family childcare) D.B.A. Ohana Childcare and Preschool I provide all of those qualities and much more. Children do lots of arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading stories, and lots of playtime. I have a classroom set up, an infant area, a fenced in outside play area, a playroom that has a camera for extra monitoring while nap time.
