I have a Snapper Hi-Vac mower, part no. 7800979, which had a Briggs & Stratton engine, Model No. 121Q02-0028-F1, which I busted in a manner I’d rather not admit to. The replacement engine was 121Q02-2025, which was discontinued and replaced with Model No. 121S02-0066-F1, which was discontinued and replaced with Model No. (something), which was discontinued without replacement. I called around to several places with no luck but the last place suggested I try Small Engine Warehouse, which based on shaft length and diameter recommended a Briggs & Stratton Model No. 115P02-0002. The engine is a constant-speed model (no throttle control) with a dead-man kill switch. Due to the configuration of my mower platform, which has a domed vacuum chamber, the engine fit only if I rotated it counterclockwise 90 degrees (no drilling required, luckily), which put the starter handle at 11 o’clock, requiring a pull to the east (rather than south) to start. It’s a long pull when you’re gripping the bail at other end of the platform to control the kill switch, but it works. The problem came in connecting the bail to the kill switch. There’s no way the original geometry was going to work, but in another stroke of luck I was able to use the original cable by reversing the upper section of the handle and drilling a new hole to reposition the cable clamp. (It took two tries to get the length right—the kill switch is sensitive.) The folks at Small Engine Warehouse responded immediately to my first phone call, three emails, and a chat message. Everything was great. Ordered on Wednesday, engine was delivered Thursday. I had to drill 2 holes for mounting, then it bolted right up. Added throttle control, started first pull. Have only run a couple tanks of gas through it, but am very happy so far.

I ordered it over the phone and the new motor was on my doorstep 3 days later

I had been looking all over for pump holts for a Generac pressure washer. These bolts were longer then typical pressure washer bolts. I ordered them at a great price and they arrived very quickly. I have bookmarked Small Engine Warehouse on my computer!

It was a bit daunting trying to figure which engine was the correct one for my purpose. However, the selection was made the delivery time was quick. It was the correct order. They came to the house for pick up and return of mower. They covered everything needed for inspection and tune-up. Great service.

I order a new replacement engine for my Hustler Raptor SD.
I had concerns about the packing. My engine arrived on time well packaged and within a few hours I was back to mowing grass. Small Engine Warehouse delivered the right engine, at a fair price, well packaged and their customer service was excellent. SEW is my store of choice for lawnmower parts and maintenance. They have always been helpful. They even have parts for the 30 year old Cub Cadet I use for plowing snow. When the bearings went on my mower deck, they offered to sell me new spindles, but suggested I go a few blocks and buy just the bearings instead since they didn't have them in stock. They even gave me a map to help me find the bearing dealer.

This place is the bottom of the barrel. Needed a repower on my mower. No problem, except I come to realize that the shroud was broken after the motor was installed, and would not run. On this $50 part, sew wanted to blame the shipper, and shipper blamed sew. This went on for a month, until I said to hell with it and bought it myself. Now, a year later, the alternator doesn't charge. Tested and found a bad stator. Sew won't accept this for warranty and says I must ship the entire motor to them because they can't test a stator themselves (scam). I, of course get to pay the shipping both ways, and will be out a mower for God only knows how long. I see they get a C- from the BBB, and that's pretty high IMO. Go somewhere else.

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN Brought a motor from them and they wouldn't stand behind the warranty. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID THEY ARE THE WORST

Parts department is horrible and unethical. They will not give you any information on the parts that they sell. I tried to find out information about fit on parts before I purchased them and the sales ID10T said he would not give me any information unless I purchased a $1500.00 dollar conversion kit from them. Save yourself some head aches and don't deal with these ID10Ts.

Horrible! Would never do business there again. Paid a deposit for chainsaw repair. They determined they could not work on the chainsaw. Kept the deposit. Never told me that they would keep the deposit, never gave me an invoice or justification for keeping the deposit. I would have purchased a new saw, and additional equipment. However, I find them unethical and uninterested in long-term customer loyalty. Take your business elsewhere. There a several places in Muncie that have similar equipment, and are respectable to work with.
