I was shopping on 9/11/16, when someone tried to steal my glasses. I caught him on time. He gave them back to me, but kept insulting me. I went to the manager, her name is Robyn, talk to her and I had a witness. The manager's response was, she's going to call the Cops and get both of us arrested. I told her, yes call the cops, but she didn't. Get me arrested for what? he stole from me. When the thief heard that, he took off. I can't believe she's a manager. I am the victim, but she still wanted BOTH of us to be arrested. Unbelievable. After I finished shopping, couple of employees told me that they know that thief. Every time when he comes in, they watch him. Obviously Robyn knows him as well, but she didn't do anything. Worst manager ever! She's unprofessional, disrespectful to customers, rude, ignorant and very trashy. I don't know how she got hired as manager, but she's incompetent and she knows nothing about management. Piece of trash, HAVE some respect to your customers.

I like finding a bargain, I'm cheap, that's why I go! my issue is this - starting about a month ago Value Village Mt Vernon, WA started putting big horrible price stickers on all books, CDs, DVDs. the price is right there on the shelf, so why deface a book or video with a sticker? Just remove it, you say. Well, sure. But, it takes a half hour and much swearing and fingernails and a hair dryer and goo-gone to get the bugger off!! And often it TEARS the book. CDs, I take off the case and soak it in warm water overnight. And then Goo-gone. What a pain in the bum! Silly and time consuming. And I hear the guy that does the pricing hates it too! The cashiers and manager are nice, it’s not their fault, the order to do this is from Seattle. I will not buy much until this stops. And I will NOT donate anything until this stops. There are plenty of other thrift stores to give my things to.
