Wow! Unimpressed came to pick up prescription I badly needed for my cow, the road was closed and I called them and said I would be 3 min late til I went around the 15 min detour and they locked doors and drove out of the parking lot with out looking at me, what kind of service is that?!

We are glad we ignored the poor reviews some disgruntled customers gave. We are very pleased with this Vet Clinic. We were traveling with our miniature Poodle when he had gradually come down with a cough that kept us up at night. He became less and less active and we were concerned. By the time we got to Mt. Vernon we knew we needed to take him in somewhere. On the recommendation of the RV park owners, I called and we were fortunate to fit in between busy times. Dr. Hindman prescribed some meds and "Peanut" was some what better but still coughing. We took him back for blood work and xrays early the next morning. They confirmed the diagnosis. Now sure that they were the correct meds, plus a new one, Peanut was back on his feet, if not well, by late afternoon. All the employees were pleasant and seemed to genuinely like their jobs. Dr. Hindman took the time to explain everything and was patient with us as we asked and answered questions. We'd be their customers always if we lived near here.

This is the worst clinic to go to in Mount Vernon, Illinois unless of course you like to wait over one hour for a vet to even see your pet. Three times I have had to wait over one hour and every other time over thirty minutes. I have 3 dogs and will never take them there again. Unprofessional would be putting it kindly, they are greedy. They blame it on emergencies but in my opinion it all has to do with being greedy by over scheduling. The Lamcyzk's are great vets, but the problem is you don't hardly ever get to see them for small animals, it's usually the people they have hired who are vets but just incompetent or slow or both.

I love this clinic. Great customer service and patient care. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is the most unprofessional clinic in the area. The new Vet, Shannon Willis is rude and very unpleasant. The did not follow USDA regulations on vaccinating our dog, so now we are left with no choice but to leave him at home with family while we return to my husband's duty station. I told them 6 months before we left that we would be traveling to Germany in Dec and they assured me that they would get him ready to go, however, they did his vaccinations in the wrong order so they are now not recognized by the government. I called to tell them of their mistake so they could fix this error in the future and Willis got a huge attitude with me and told me it was my problem, not theirs. I told her i just wanted them to know the correct order so no one had this issue and she said, "we have never had this problem before so i really don't care." I have never been treated with such "high-school" attitude in my life. I would expect a more professional attitude out of a 13 year old cheerleader.
