Provided by YP.comDr. Jon is amazing with my nasty bulldog. Max was kicked out of his last veterinary office because he gets very nasty at the vet. He had a bad experience as a puppy and he just doesn't have time to be treated by a doctor. However...he does need shots and has problems here and there. I love how the doctor just took control and got the job done. He cut Max's nails like a boss!! I highly recommend Pet Vet Express

Provided by YP.comDr. Jon is wonderful. Skilled, Caring, Convenient. He has cared for each of our 5 huskies over the last 20 years. His care is excellent. Two of them made it to 14 and we currently have one who will be 16 next month. (Although she acts 5 sometimes!) He works out of a motorhome and comes to us.
When the time comes to put them down, he is incredibly caring and compassionate. We want to be there and holding them. It is peaceful. He has, on 3 occasions, come into our livingroom, allowed my mom to lay on the floor holding and petting them. When we're ready, he gives them a shot to relax them. When they are sleeping (the last one snored!), and when you are ready, he administers the drug to stop their heart. Afterwards he gives sufficient time to be with them. I have recommended him over and over for a lifetime of care and for end of life issues.

Provided by SuperpagesDr. Jon, I was so pleased to see the one review on YP. I read that you sedated a cat before you gave the final euthanasia. This is the most humane way to euthanise a cat or a dog. I am very upset because I have a friend who took get elderly, very sick dog, Angel, a sweet Bichon, to the large, new animal hospital. A vet there should have realized that veins in an old dying dog will collapse. Well, he and a vet tech attempted to put a needle in the poor dog's vein. The owner heard her Bichon crying loudly! Then as the vet was administrating the euthanasia to the elderly dog, Angel, she cried out in pain again, as she was dying. This is horrific to me. My friend can't sleep and is stressed out because she can't stop hearing her dying "Angel" crying out when she was passing. After reading how you humanely put one of your cat patients to sleep I felt thankful that you are practicing in this area. My friend is so upset but afraid to make an issue of this. She is still in shock and is mourning her loss. What can one do when you have little money? How does one go up against a large animal hospital with several vets and vet techs covering for each other's mistakes or negligence? It is so unfair!!!! I want to commend you, Dr. Jon, for humanely putting a beloved pet to sleep in a humane manner. I have pets and my husband and I would like to meet you. I have heard that you are a caring vet. Please continue to sedate pets before euthanazing them. Submitted by an animal advocate!
