I was looking to replace some tropical fish I lost,ended up talking to Jim,very helpful,ended up starting a saltwater tank with his help,very helpful,great customer service,got my tank started,now waiting for the break in time for the tank before getting fish,more places should have employees like him,thanks jim

I like it. I've been going to Discount Pet Supplies now for at least 2 years and never been let done once when it comes to answering my questions or having killer prices for saltwater fish and supplies. Early this year I met the groomer in the store and after checking out the grooming reviews online I ended up making the switch from my old groomer (who shall remain nameless) to Discount Pets. I have brought my Sheltie there numerous times since and not had a problem or complaint so yes I like it!



Pros - friendly staff and good deals, good all around

Cons - not open on sundays

Discount Pet supplies and grooming is great. Came in last Sat for my first time. My next door neighbor's dog always looks good. I asked my neighbor where she takes it to and she said go to Discount Pets Supply and ask for Shakira. I brought my Yorkie in and was very happy with the groom especially since its so hard for me to find a good groomer in Gaston county and I'm tired of making the long drive to petsmart.. They told me to stick around for a shark feeding and i said what?! Lo and behold they have a 9 foot shark in there. I swear the owner is gonna lose a finger if he keeps feeding that thing by hand. but its nice because he makes him leap out of the water a little bit to get the food. If you go in make sure you see the shark feeding at 2 on sat.
