Kelley's Draperies is one of my favorite window treatment companies. 10 or 12 years ago when I decided I needed custom drapes for my newly redecorate living room I came across Kelleys and ended up buying my ceiling to floor drapes. They have been beautiful for all these years. I also decided on draperies made by Kelleys for a bedroom and Hunter Douglass Verticals from them for the family room. The last time I spoke to Mike Kelley he mentioned that his wife Nancy, who makes all the draperies, was thinking about retiring. That was my OMG moment. After several months I decided it was time to get some new living room drapes to make sure Mrs. Kelley would still be working. The old ones are not in bad shape but are showing a bit of age and I did not want to miss my opportunity to get the same quality of workmanship I saw in the current set. Here is something that impressed me even more about these folks. The fabric I and my husband chose was part linen and no matter what they did to try and "iron" the wrinkles out, nothing worked. Their answer was...let us pick new fabric and they would make new ones for us!!!!!!! They were not going to give a customer drapes that refused to smooth out. I was so flabbergasted at this generosity I just had to spread this around. This is customer service, this is pride in workmanship, this is being wonderful people. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Kelley. You a re just outstanding people.
