I have been to a LOT of doctors and the ones at the Wood Clinic are the only ones that really seem to care! We moved away and now I can't find anyone that compares. They REALLY listen to what you have to say and seem to genuinely care!!!! I miss Kelly and hoping when we move back up there I get to see her asap! She just seems to understand and care about the torture my mind goes through!

I think BOTH of you, were ONLY going for one reason ...PERIOD!! If they called you in for a med check, then they had their suspicion, and I am SURE they had a good reason. I have been going there for a long time, and they treated me with the upmost respect! They are not about handing out whatever it is you want, these Dr's and staff are PROFESSIONAL and were NOT born yesterday! Dr. Gregory Wood and his staff went out of their way to HELP me when I was going through the most difficult time of my life, and IF it wasn't for them, I would NOT be here today...THEY SAVED MY LIFE!! The FDA is breaking down on Dr's and keep track of what they give out, and IF I were them, I wouldn't want to lose my license either to support someone's habit! I know that they do infact give out controlled meds to people who need them and don't abuse them, they would NOT let anyone suffer! if you follow their rules and regulations, you get treated with RESPECT, but if you choose to try to test their knowledge, they will dismiss you! I am not trying to insult you, but don't talk about a facility, just because they didn't do what you wanted anymore...I guess they were smarter then you think, and IF I had my way the Dr's/ clinics that do give controlled meds on a regular basis, would be shut down! I suggest that you go to a pain management Dr or mental health Dr. maybe they will be able to ENABLE you, because this facility is there for the people, not the drugs or the money! They been around long enough to know when someone is just after controlled meds!! Go a head and insult me, call me names, whatever it is you want to do, because what I have said is INDEED nothing but the TRUTH and you know in your head and heart it is! And usually when a Dr transfers, to WOOD HEALTH CARE, it is because they also want to be in an atmosphere, and directed by a WONDERFUL Dr. such as Dr. Greg! I say ***Wood Health Care*** you are the BEST at what you do, and I am so HAPPY that I am your patient... = )

i have seen this one doc for a while in my life where i was comfy to go to about my disability then she moved to the moundsville wood health care i would show up every month to see the doc and get my meds it got to where i moved and didnt show one month around the time i was suppose to and they quit seeing me. the wood health care woman at the front desk says i was sent papers that was not even seen by me that had said for me to come in for a med count or something like that. they was suppose to have sent it to my other address where i was no longer their anymore and it wasent even that long after they said they sent that letter i was in their for my monthly check up hell i was even early. they didnt treat me at all and it was embarrassing that day. they treated me awful. i have waited two years and iv called in resently to see if i can see my doctor and they told me they will talk to someone and get back to me and still i have not heard nothing from them. im a good person and to be treated like this is awful i would really like something done about this.

The older blonde secretary at the front desk is very rude. Tip: you probably shouldn't cuss out patients under your breath after you put them on hold when others in the waiting area can hear you. I would not bring a stray dog to this place and we will not be returning.

I know who you are talking about, She can be a BIT&%.

She is Nice though if you are nice to her.

Quality Poor to fair

The practitioners are OK I guess. Although I did tell her I did not have anybody to care about me, and stay after me to get the needed test done that I should have done. I told her to stay after me, but she did not. I guess they really don't care about there patients. Also when you call for information, you are only allowed to talk to a nurse, and they are always in a big huge hurry, and make you feel like you are bothering them. All the Nurse wants to do is Get you off the Phone. Over all, I really do not really like the service. But it is hard to get a doctor around here.

Then yesterday I called, I TOLD THEM I needed to get scheduled for a colostomy

ASAP as I was past due, and I was going to be off work for the next two weeks, and I wanted to get it done while I was off work.

She called back (Marie) and said June 2nd. I told her, I had hoped to get it all done while I was off work. ,

she said well if you want to call them, I asked her, did you tell them I was off for two weeks, and wanted to get it done while I was off? she said She Faxed It over (She said she didn't call *all* of the offices)

Well then why when I called the center, 1 2 3 BAM! they got he right in this Friday May 17th, and I will have the colostomy done early next week.

I called her back (Marie) and told her I got right in, she was like Oh good!

I said I'm sorry, I think you could have done more to get me in ASAP, and I don't believe you told them I was off for 2 weeks, and wanted to get in while I was of.

I also told her I was not happy over all with the Clinic, and would likely be looking for another doctor.

Tell me then , what the he%% did I need her for, ( Or there referral department period) when I got better results calling my self.
