We eat here regularly and have for years. Morgan Hill had a history of terrible Chinese restaurants until China Palace opened up. The owners are very friendly, helpful with order suggestions, and the food is delicious. I have hosted parties there for the high school tennis team and they worked within our budget. I have also hosted a couple of my teenage girls birthday parties there - they have a separate room that was just perfect. They knew exactly what to advise me to order and the kids loved it. Now it is usually just two or three of us that go at a time, but the food and the service are always excellent. The place is always clean and nice. Try it, you won't be disappointed. It is by far the best Chinese food in Morgan Hill and the nicest environment as well.

I only eat lunch there but their orange chicken is fantastic! And their lunch prices are great.

"China Palace" in Morgan Hill, CA, is a traditional Chinese restaurant and due to a variety of things is an overall excellent dining experience if you have any history tasting Chinese food. The quality of the entrees can vary due to different things, and it helps to know what you want to eat without trying to read through the entire menu. Appetizers, dessert and tea along with the entree make this place seem superlative. Also remember that with places like this, you have to pay for service, which is typically excellent as well.

Went to the place with four other people to try this place out.We got there about 4pm and the place was empty.We thought,we were early,so we were happy to beat the expected rush.The place has a bar,so 2 people ordered drinks and were told the bartender was running late but should be in shortly after we had been waiting for about 15 minutes,she took our order for our food..So we ordered our food and waited for about 20 minutes for it to be done and brought to us.At this time ,we tried to get our drinks from the bar,but now we are informed that the bartender does not get there till 6 pm.The food was ok but not worth the cost and the service was bad.the server,who we think was the manager,seemed to not really care about being there.

This was about 4 months ago and one of the girls,tried it again to see if it was a fluck,but she was dissapointed again by the bad service and the time to get your meals and the quality it was.
