i would like to thank everyone associated with dr whitesell's office. i had to have surgery on a stone and everyone was wonderful. i had problems the day after surgery and the nurse crystal got back to me immediately. i would def recommend them. thank you again

It is with great disappointment that I am writing you today with regards to the way my husband was treated at your Moore, Oklahoma office.

After being rushed to St. Anthony’s emergency room on Friday night and enduring a extremely long and painful 3 day weekend with what was found to be kidney stones, gallbladder stones and a cyst/tumor on the kidney we went to the ultrasound appointment on Tuesday morning and then, after paying out over $500.00 dollars thus far, headed over to your office for what we hoped would be a step in the right direction to rectify these issues. So, you can imagine our horror as my husband, who is in extreme pain, was told he would have to reschedule the appointment because he did not have the co pay and that your office would not bill him the $25.00.

Now, I’m no expert but it would stand to reason that your office would collect more from the insurance company for a completed office visit than the $25.00 charged to the patient. Therefore, your office lost money by turning away a client over a $25.00 co-pay and/or the willingness to send a bill. Not to mention the fact that word of mouth and the internet are both powerful resources for advertisement or adverse reviews.

I would hope that this e-mail would help you reevaluate your office policies and to remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.
