Founded in 1933, Sentinel Funds has been helping investors maximize their returns through an asset management approach that stresses consistent performance over extended time periods. Sentinel Fund portfolios are managed by Sentinel Advisors Company. The people who manage the Sentinel Funds and other investment portfolios of the joint venture also manage the investment portfolios of National Life Insurance Company. The other Sentinel companies include: Sentinel Financial Services Company, which markets and distributes the Sentinel Funds, and Sentinel Administrative Service Company, which provides fund accounting, transfer agent and shareholder servicing functions to the fund group. All are located in Montpelier, Vt.
