Horrible

I did no know that I was consigning a lease for my daughter to move in a dungeon in the ghetto. The sales manager gives you a tour of a model apartment and common areas which are beautiful but when you actually move into the property the apartment is horrible. Nasty carpet. Mismatched and torn furniture. It was just a hot funky mess. My daughters sink and tub had clogged drains im sure from hair upon move in. Waited 3 days for maintenance. Maintenance came apparently while she was away in class and said the problem was fixed. THAT WAS A LIE!!. so my daughter calls me at home in another state and management just blew me off with a nasty attitude. I feel as if I failed my daughter by believing the lies that we were told upon signing the lease. Please believe all the bad reviews. .im sure they are true.

I would not choose to live her...

I would not choose to live here again because 1) The rent is overpriced 2) I've lived in 2 different apartments here and both have been infested with silverfish 3) It is always noisy here -- from the neighbors to the extremely loud music played at the pool some nights -- horrible for studying 4) It is on the edge of a bad neighborhood and there are constantly problems with theft and drugs.

The Grove is a great place to ...

The Grove is a great place to live because the rent is cheap and the commute to classes is minimal driving-wise. In fact, for new incoming residents wanting a 3 BR 1200 sq. ft unit, the rent, which always includes all but like $10 of utilities, is only going to be $485/month. In my case, it is only $455/month, because it is my second year here since a $30 cheaper rent was an incentive to sign for another year, six months early. Often times, in my experience, the occupancy level is below capacity; My unit only has two of us, and my roommate is moving out at the end of this month, while I happen to be looking for someone to take my lease because I am doing a leave of absence from school. The free internet and basic cable have been nice. I don’t know if phone service is free or not because I just use my 688,9377 non-Mobile mobile (480) number. There are volleyball and basketball courts and a soccer field for the athletic, and there is a fire pit and grills for outdoor hangouts. If you wanna swim, there is a decent pool, and for those who are into the other kind of pool, there is a pool table at the main office, across from their fitness center which is available 24/7 to only those living in the Grove. I would definitely recommend the Grove to incoming students, whether I was leaving or not.

Run as far as you can away fro...

Run as far as you can away from this place! My daughter moved into her apartment in August and unbeknownst to us, it had a horrible bed bug infestation last year. So bad that the carpeting had to be replaced! Now...guess what? She has an infestation to deal with! I feel like the manager is giving us the runaround and not following through with the proper course of treatment. What a NIGHTMARE!!!

They are absolutely horrible.....

They are absolutely horrible...I have had more trouble with the people running the office since I moved in. Every single month they screw something up with my paperwork, rent, or something, and all they can say is "We'll take care of it," which they almost never do if you don't constantly harass them. I despise this place. The people are rude and they don't keep any of their promises, like matching roommates, keeping the apartments up and various other things. It took them forever to get security going (after several robberies and other crimes). They finally moved me from the apartment I was in with a terrible roommate to a new apartment with a roommate I had to find myself, and then two weeks ago they tried to give my new room to someone else because they screwed up my information in the computer. They tried to evict me for not paying my rent even though I repeatedly went to the office with documentation where I had payed it on time! This place is ridiculous!!! I have tried to contact the corporate office to no avail, so it looks like I'm stuck with this mess for a while.

Don't go to the grove

The Grove will tell you that you have to sign up early or there will be no apts available. So, you sign up early and if any of your plans change, such as you have to leave school for some reason, they don't care. They still take your money...and the best part...there are many openings right before school starts...currently they are offering $100 to anyone who gets someone to rent. So, don't sign up early if you have any doubts...I needed to leave for a family medical issue and could not get out of my lease. They are horrible.
