Provided by YP.comI have used the Costcare clinic twice to have a Boniva injection.
The first time (Fall of 2009) I went to the Russell location. They were quick and efficient (I was out in 15 minutes) and it only cost $15. It costs $35 when I have it done at my doctor's office.
The second time I used the Broadway location (June of 2010). There was a doctor on duty. It took an hour (???) and cost $45 (???). The doctor didn't clean the injection site well enough and two days after my injection my hand swelled and was very painful. Since I was traveling I had to go to an emergency room for treatment. I developed a severe infection in my hand and it took all summer for my hand to heal and my body to recover from the strong antibiotics I had to take.
I went to Costcare to save time and money but since I had to pay for an emergency room visit, several antibiotics, and follow-up doctor visits it was much more expensive and time consuming. I will not use Costcare again.
