Founded in 1974, our fourteen-person firm covers Southern California, including San Diego and Nevada. Our main office in Lake Forest, California is maintained by a staff of four inside sales coordinators and ten outside sales people, geographically located in each market within our territory. Two of our inside people and all of our Field Sales Reps are dedicated to supporting industrial distribution. This allows us to cover the marketplace intensively, calling on both O.E.M.'s and industrial distributors. English Technical Sales has implemented sales automation tools to drive the demand creation side of new business development. We call our sales automation "eRep" after electronic technology representatives. Utilizing Empowerment Systems Software installed over Lotus Notes, our sales personnel can keep track of their opportunities and keep the sales management for our Principals in touch with "real time" information. English Technical Sales focus is on application specific technical sales. Our sales people concentrate on reaching the design engineers at the front end of new programs. Our mixed technology line card balances both digital and passive/electromechanical solutions, reaching design engineers with everything from thermal packaging solutions to integrated circuits.
