I wrote the review above three days ago. After the review, the manager of the store e-mailed me and asked me to call him or stop in to discuss the bad experience I had in his store. I called him. We discussed my experience I explained to him that I had purchased a Clifford alarm system/car starter four years ago and that it had stopped working. He told me, as did his service manager that Clifford only had a one year warranty. I directed him to the Clifford website and informed him that, in fact, Clifford systems have a lifetime warranty. He conceded that I was correct and that he would notify his corporate office that their computers were wrong. That means if you purchased a Clifford car starter/alarm system from Ultimate Electronics it has a lifetime warranty, contrary to what they told you. I was impressed that he took the time to address my review and I stated that I would remove my negative review from the internet. He thanked me! Then I told him that I would like to have a Clifford remote starter installed in my new vehicle. He said his service sales person was busy but he took my number and said he would have the sales person call me right away. Guess what? He never called. I went from a disgruntled customer to customer wanting an expensive car alarm/remote start and the sales person never called me back. I give up! Ultimate Electronics is no better than Best Buy. If I was the CEO of Ultimate Electronics and I read this review I would be furious and heads would roll.
