The waiting room is beautiful and everyone was very helpful and inviting. I had a cavity filled, it was painless and I didn't have to get numb because of the laser they have! Where you go does make a difference!

I have been coming here for a couple years now and the staff and doctors are amazing! They really seem to care unlike the chain I switched from. I would recommend to anyone!!

This office is great! They are attentive and friendly and they seem to actualy care about you. I would recommend to anyone!

I'm not sure why other reviewers are implying or outright accusing of misleading billing etc. When I made my appointment I was told about a price special they had for it, at the end of my appointment the cost of the work I needed done was itemized and clearly explained to me and they were very sensitive to my budget in planning the work. Having said that, I would like to add I am a dental-phobe. I hate going so much that by the time I did, I was embarrassed about the state of my teeth. Dr. Schaarf was extremely comforting, and I am actually looking forward to completing the process and having a beautiful smile at the finish line.

After being with Northwood's Dental for many years, and spending thousand of dollars with them, they displayed a complete lack of concern for me when I was sick. On the day of an appointment, I was sick and diagnosed with Strep, so had to cancel my appointment. The receptionist or whoever answered the phone said I should have known I was going to be sick and called ahead. She also demanded I tell her what my illness was. All she was concerned with is the fact the Dr would lose money in the vacant timeslot. They also charged me a fee for the canceled appointment as they said I had missed a couple before. Good doctors, terrible customer service and client care.

We are so pleased with our experiences at Northwoods Dental and Dr. Baldwin. He was wonderful with our three year old daughter when she needed to have four cavities filled. They made her comfortable, helped her to understand what was going to happen and worked quickly and gently. We couldn't be happier with our Dentist!

Everyone is so friendly and full of smiles. It makes it a joy to come to the dentist just to be around such positive people.

Lori is always very pleasant and nice to talk to. Jack was very friendly/pleasant also.

Be careful!!! Beware! Dr Scharf is out to make as much money as possible and he will start treatment first and inform you of the cost second.



Get the price in writing before you let him proceed!

My wife and I really enjoyed the positive upbeat atmosphere. The kids were relaxed and that alone says a lot. I recommend Northwoods Dental for you and your family. We're very happy with the location and experience. We live in Maple Grove and have two kids five and two.

Once again, Dr. Scharf and his staff have exceeded my expectations. I was in for my cleaning and everybody was so friendly and helpful. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did a great job, my teeth feel wonderful. Dr. Scharf answered all my questions about making my smile better, and I am all set to get my new smile from Dr. Scharf! Thank you!
