Early Childhood Family Education is a part of Robbinsdale Area Schools, which offers several educational programs and services. The district covers more than seven communities with a population of over 100,000 residents and nearly 46,000 households in the state of Minneapolis. Early Childhood Family Education offers a community education program that serves residents from birth through retirement and includes an early childhood family and resource center, adult academic programs and enrichment classes. In addition, it provides parenting classes and enrichment programs, as well as health services, swimming lessons, special education and transportation. The unit also offers various community-based educational services related to health awareness and hygiene, as well as operates an elementary music program.
