Joseph got his start 12 years ago selling bagpipes as The Shetland Piper. Now we sell bagpipes, kilts, accessories, Scottish and Irish clothing, and gifts, and lots of other stuff. Six years ago Lorie married Joseph and joined the business. Joseph quit his job, and together they run the business full-time. January 2004 they changed the business name to The Celtic Croft. We travel many weekends throughout the summer each year attending Highland Games and Irish fairs around the country ( sometimes with the seven children ), but primarily our business is based in mail-order sales from the catalog and website. We currently have a small showroom in our home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and welcome visitors by appointment. Be warned though, we have 7 children and 4 cats. If you are allergic to cats or kids, please let us know, and we will arrange an alternate meeting place. We hope to have an outside retail location soon. This is a family picture taken the summer of 2006, on a family vacation after the Wyoming Highland Games.
