Hi, my name is Kelly Larson. As the Marketing Director at Boger Dental, of course I LOVE how the ease of submitting reviews online gives people a channel to share experiences and recommendations. Unfortunately, it's also easy to anonymously make claims without having to back up what you say. The way the post written by SMILES on 6/6/11 is worded, it appears to be commentary by another dentist rather than the experience of one of our patients.Boger Dental transitioned from being a fee-for-service, primarily cosmetic practice to being an in-network provider with several dental insurance companies when we moved to our new Plymouth location in 09. You can be confident that our fees are comparable with other providers in the Twin Cities, but that the that our steadfast focus on five-star service is still the same. From progressive family care to the finest in restorative dentistry, our caring and knowledgeable team strives to provide you with high-integrity, high-quality dental care.

It is true that as soon as I started questioning about unnecessary things they like to tack on to your bill they get upset and give bad advice by saying "if I was in your shoes I would do it" Like that is suppose to trick me into what they want?. They have their own bottled water? that is tacky and shows where most of the money goes to establish million dollar surroundings fancy artwork that costs $5000. But a young staff that is far different than Stephen Boger was or how he was when he was in power. Their prices are astronomical and up sell everything from their own toothpaste to mouthwash.

I had high hopes of this being a good place. I was disappointed. The office is beautiful and the staff are friendly if you don't have problems. However, the minute you do have problems, they seem to blame it on you. Be careful on the $1 promo - if you have insurance, they may bill it.

I have hated going to the dentist more then my trip to Vietnam. I wanted "NO PAIN" Sudation is the answer. I didn't think the price was any worse then I'd paid at elsewere. Check around no such thing as a cheap root canal. Besides Who's looking for the cheapest guy to work on your theet, I want the best. As they say " You get what you pay for" Anyways I'm very happy with my visit to Boger dental and going forward this has now become my dentist of choice.

To anyone out there searching for a family dentist: I advise you NOT to chooose Boger Dental unless you enjoy paying insanely outrageous prices for your dental work. When I called to question the bill we received I was told their prices are "competitive". REALLY. I've seen more than my fair share of great dentists over the years--some right here in the Twin Cities as recently as one month ago, and some out of this area. None have been as insanely priced as Boger Dental. We made the mistake of going there once. It will never happen again, and I will definitely be pointing everyone I know in another direction should they be looking for dental services. Fine dentists and fine work, but absolutely not worth being ripped off.
