Our incredible company culture is composed of a loyal customer base, guides and staff that love what they do (and it shows), and a continued effort to stay true to its original mission by providing fun, educational, and affordable vacations for families and groups of all sizes. NARR's 1500 acre home features a whole range of accommodations and activities from luxurious cabins, packed with all the amenities including hot tubs and fully equipped kitchens, to basic camp sites. We also have everything in between. We offer the best zip line tour on the East Coast, mud obstacle courses, ATV tours, horseback riding, paintball, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayak clinics, a 5 acre adventure play park lake full of inflatable toys, slides, and a zip line that is free to all guests participating in any guided activity, 3 restaurants and of course RAFTING. We must warn you, fun is guaranteed!

Anyone can do that and any company can make that happen for you. Rafting companies all have slick websites and similar pricing.
The differences between businesses are the small details, many of which are unnoticeable to the average customer: quality of the guides, efficiency of the operation, safety record,etc.
I recently chose NARR purely by chance. Thankfully it turned out to be a wise choice. My family rafting experience went flawlessly well. Our guide was flexible and did a great job catering to the needs of the customers.
NARR is one of the smaller companies on the water and is independently owned. While the staff did get in the required subtle mentions of local attractions it was not done in a pushy manner.
I would definitely recommend North American to anyone looking for a rafting experience on the New or Gauley rivers.
