A Carson City native, earned his Bachelors of Arts in Communication Disorders from Baylor University in 1989. He then earned his Masters of Science in Audiology from the University of North Texas in 1992. Dr. Harjes earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2002. He has worked as an Audiologist in an Ear, Nose, and Throat office. His experience in this medical environment has enabled him to observe, diagnose, and treat various types of ear disorders. Dr. Harjes has been fitting and dispensing hearing aids since 1992. During his spare time Dr. Harjes spends time with his 2 daughters and enjoying the out of doors camping or boating. Dr. Harjes is also very involved with his daughters sports and their church.
