We've been proudly serving the home wine and beer making community since 1969. We are still in the same location on 92nd and Beloit. Many of our customers become life long friends bringing there friends and family into our shop to get started. We are the place to go if you want to learn how to make wine or beer at home. We will help you personnally step by step through the whole process. Our staff is very knowledgable in all aspects of wine and beer making.

We hope you will come in and meet us, we enjoy sharing our expertise with anyone who comes in or calls. We are dedicated to helping beginners as well as the more advanced home fermenters in our area.

Charming Wine & Homebrew shop

We really loved our experience at The Purple Foot. We just starting making our own wine and spent a lot of time talking to Karen and Jim at the store and on the phone. They both have a lot of experience and are willing to share it with us. They are walking us through the process a step at a time which makes it much easier and less intimidating. We look forward to going back to the store with a sample of our wine (when it's finished)! And starting our next batch.
