I've taken my Bichon/Shih-Tzu puppy there for about a year now. She comes back looking fantastic, and each time I drop her off, she seems to remember the place and runs toward the groomer. The groomer truly loves what she does - it's more than a job, and it's obvious. She's certainly not doing it for the money because it's very inexpensive and the quality of the cut/trim/wash/etc is wonderful.

On a down note, the first time I went there, Sue, the groomer, was great about instructing me on what I can do at home to help with knots, but an older lady (who I presume is the owner, 'Glenda'?) was quite snappish. I don't remember what she said exactly, but basically I should be taking better care of my dog.

But Sue more than makes up for the grumpy old lady.
