We have had a few bad experiences with this vet - one dog ingested a staple and he wouldn't operate to find it - the dog died - we boarded a young female to get through her first heat without getting bred and were told that she was out of heat so we picked her up- on the board in the clinic it was noted she was out of heat- we got her home and our Male jumped her and she was bred within minutes- this will cost us thousands in puppy sales - after a lot of arguing we got the money back for boarding and were told never come back

My friend is terminal and under going treatments. She paid to have her female dog kept away from her male until she was old enough to breed. The vet knew this was why she was there. They were told to pick her up she was ready. She was home 5 minutes before the male got her. Now she has to be spayed. The vet will not make it right and told them not come back. Obviously, they have a bad review on here already so please take your animals elsewhere.

Dr. Merayo has no integrity and has no compassion for these animals. His staff are rude and very hateful. Very disappointed and we now take our animals to Gallup.
