Excellent quality, fabulous customer service!

My old gas logs bit the dust and I went to Hearth and Patio Shoppe to talk to them about new logs. Larry spent a lot of time with me explaining the differences between vented, direct vent, and vent free options. I settled on vented..the Hargrove Gas Logs Radiant Heat Series. I love it. Not only is it beautiful but it puts out enough heat to warm my living room despite the fact that I have a loft above it. The installer was very nice also. I am always freezing so my new fireplace will help make this winter warmer..at least inside the house! Thanks for all your help and patience Larry, Susan Williams

They were extremely nice demonstrating the gas logs. Larry Traylor and his mother, Mary seem to be the only employees. They are happy to take 100% of your money up front. The installer did an excellent job in a timely manner. The problem is this: Heaven help the customer if you need to call to ask for assistance or have a question after the sale. They cannot get you off the phone fast enough, saying they will call you back. The call never comes - is this the kind of service anyone who pays over $1500 for gas logs deserves? I do not think so! Our remote doesn't work properly, and we just want answers. Are they too busy to call back now that they have our $$?

We are so pleased with our new custom fireplace doors from H&P! Thanks to personal service and great suggestions from Larry the owner, we love the way the doors look and how well they fit our fireplace and add to the feeling of our room overall. It was a pleasure working with Larry and with the H&P installation team, who were just as helpful, professional, and upbeat as Larry. I originally contacted Bon Air Hearth and after waiting several weeks for their salesman to respond with a quote I gave up on them and went to Hearth & Patio Shoppe. I should have started here because Tricia and Larry were very helpful and their customer service exceeded all of my expectations. I had my fireplace installed and working in about a week and am completely satisfied. Don't waste your time with Bon Air, go directly to Hearth & Patio Shoppe!

Larry did a wonderful job helping me pick out my gas logs and remote, as I didn't know what I wanted. I would highly recommend him - he did an awesome job. Thanks Larry!

AWESOME! Our addition was extremely complex with nearly every component custom. Larry and his staff were tremendously helpful, walked us through all options and the process step by step. Even coordinated with our contractor to ensure our custom stone wall/fireplace was perfect! I can't say enough about their contribution to our new space. We purchased everything from an oversized firebox, 2 log sets, gas fireplace, outdoor furniture, etc. All were stellar quality, installed perfectly and their service has been fantastic. We've phoned a couple times afterward with some questions and they're always eager to help.

We purchased gas logs from Larry many years ago and they still work beautifully and his staff knew the business and answered all our questions! Last fall we built a new deck and wanted some special furniture! I found a great set on my first visit, but I took the time to shop around, then back to Larry. He delivered our set personally and after hours so we would be at home. I was so impressed with the customer service & selection, I have been back for another purchase.

i had visited several other dealers before I walked into Larrys Hearth & Patio Shoppe. The customer service was outstanding, the staff took their time in showing me different models and the features of the models. There was not a push to purchase a larger unit than I needed just so they could make a profit as a couple of other dealers had tried to do. Once the unit was arrived at the shop Larrys team was out within the week to install. The installation team laid covering to protect my hardwood flooring as they ran piping and installed until. They cleaned up after the work was completed. Now the weather has been so warm this winter I have not had a chance to really enjoy but I know if we do get some real snow, Im more than prepared. Had a wood stove insert installed in January 2012. There was some initial install problems and the owner came back to assist with the install. Looks and works better than I expected. Owner was very helpful and made sure everything ws perfect. This was the third hearth store that we went to before our purchase and we found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Their price was better too. Have a Regency stove and we are very satisfied with it.

Service was super. We purchased patio furniture, umbrellas and a Green Egg. They came out, set things up and checked on the set up afterwards. Fair prices, too. Will do business with again!

Recently I wanted to purchase a fire insert. I did a bunch of research online. Then I went to area shops. I went to Hearth and Patio shop first and they were so informative and helpful. They answered all my questions and I felt like none of my questions were dumb. I went to other shops and left feeling horrible. The other shops were not helpful; they were pushing me to make a decision and were condescending at times. We returned to the Hearth and Patio Shop. We purchased our insert. It was a very smooth instillation. After they left you wouldnt know they were here, except they left a beautiful insert behind and ready for the winter months.

We have purchased two items from this Hearth & Patio Shoppe. The first was a gas stove insert that had to be customized to fit our stone chimney. They did a good job & we really enjoyed the insert during the colder months. It did take some extra time to get the stove installed, but it was a custom job & since it was just before Christmas they were very busy. I also wasn't in a huge hurry so I told them to just schedule me after the holidays. The wait was well worth it because they did a good job & we were very pleased with the end result. We have since purchased a gas grill from them that was promptly assembled & delivered to our home as promised. I would not hesitate to make another purchase from this Hearth & Patio Shoppe. The owner, Larry Taylor, as well as his staff were always nice to me.

We have been a customer of Larry Traylor's, owner of Hearth and Patio, for almost 15 years. Everything from our grill to the outdoor furniture we have purchased from him has preformed to our expections and beyond. His staff always greets us as soon as we walk into the store and always more then willing to go the extra mile to give customer service. One evening at about 6 PM we went to light our grill and it would not work. I called the store to see if they had one in the stock that we could pick up the next day. After asking me several questions Larry identified that all I needed was a new regulator not a new grill! He waited at the store for my husband to go by and pick up the new regulator And that was it, we were cooking our dinner by 7:15, now that is what we call service. PLEASE see these folks before you make any purchase for your home, I am sure you will be happy you did. We would never consider doing business with anyone else. I wish there were more than five stars!

Highly recommended! After trying several others, I was very pleased with the sales and service of Larry traylor and his emplyees. They were pleasent and proffesional. I recently purchased gas logs for 2 fireplaces in my new home. I was very pleased to be recommeded to Hearth and Patio since it is close to my house. My purchase was a pleasant experience and everything ran smoothly. I am planning on purchasing my patio furniture also from here during the spring season as they have a mass variety to choose from
