So grateful that David Art was open to supply paint and brushes for a 48 x48 piece I am so pleased to work on throughout the Quarentine! I understand artists all over the city took that opportunity to increase their inventory for sale!

This is an incredible store, with lots of stuff for all sorts of varieties of projects. But most important, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Framing, too, is great -- I've had three things framed here (they have Groupons from time to time!) and no one ever pushed me to a decision, but let me take all the time I needed to try to figure out just what I wanted.

I absolutely love this store. I finally got a chance to drive over and check it out and it's now my go-to place for most art supplies. And that's with me having to drive 45 minutes into Metairie to get to it. Very helpful sales people and a wonderful range even for the mixed media artist like me.

Best store for selection and range, in the whole Metro New Orleans area. Their prices are generally competitive (you can always find a sale somewhere else, so it's not like it's TOTAL bargain-basement, but it's still good to excellent) and ... MOST IMPORTANT ... their staff of three floor-salespeople, and the two owners, are totally utterly PHENOMENALLY careful about paying attention, knowing the inventory, making suggestions, letting you try things out, teaching you. An upstairs conference room hosts regular workshops and demonstrations. Lots and lots of easels. Plenty of brushes, tubes of oils acrylics watercolors, many craft supplies for the off-the-wall stuff like airbrushing, graffiti wall art, molded plastic sculpture, hair coloring for Mardi Gras costumes, you NAME it. Love it here. One block behind Lakeside Mall in Fat City.

I can't believe how well stocked this art store is! I am very happy to have such a great art store in our area. The staff f and owners are very friendly and knolegeable. Prices are very competitive with other stores. My best friend always says ...if David Art doesn't have it, you don't need it! This ia A++++++++ store! I love to go there!!

I need supplies at the last minutes for a project that I was hired to do. The staff at David Art Center rallied around me and pulled everything off the shelf that i needed. I had a long list, but that didn't bother the staff. They were extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. Even though they were about to lock up, they didn't complain and they didn't hurry me. It was a good experience and I am going to definetely recommend David Art Center to my friends.
