Love this shop. I just got back from my first dress fitting and it fits like a glove, the seamstress there is amazing. She added the exact sleeve I was looking for. great great place :)

I searched long and hard for my wedding dress and finally found it at Elena's based on a recommendation from my mom's friend. The selection for a smaller boutique was excellent and they were so helpful from start to finish. My alteration experience was fantastic! The dress maker was able to add a halter strap that was exactly what I wanted, and the dress stayed put and looked great all night. I also got my five bridesmaid dresses here and they looked great, everyone was so pleased. Great experience, I would recommend this shop to anyone, can't wait to bring my best friend back once she's engaged : )

I totally agree with the bad reviews on here - could have written them myself. As soon as you pay your money the whole attitude of the sisters changes. They seamstress did a terrible job on our alterations and the whole experience was awful.

I loved my shopping experience...

I loved my shopping experience at Elena Bridal! I purchased my bridesmaids and mom's gown from Elena's, unfortunately I had already bought my wedding gown before I heard about Elena's :( I was having major issues with picking out bridesmaid dresses - I had 10 girls and could not find a dress that they were all happy with. Tracy at Elena's was so helpful. She found the perfect dress (long flowy chiffon) that all the girls loooved. She also helped me perfectly coordinate the colors to match my wedding color palette. The maid of honor wore a slightly deeper shade of pink than the rest of the bridal party and it looked so elegant! The alterations were great as well - many of my girls only needed a hem! All the girls were so comfortable at my wedding.

My mom bought an absolutely beautiful dress from there as well. She received a ton of compliments! They even did some custom alterations on her dress (added a strap) and modified the jacket so that my mom was completely happy (not an easy thing to do!!)

When I went the first time to ...

When I went the first time to pick out the bridesmaid dress and get measured they were very nice and helpful. This accommodating attitude didn't last very long. Once the dresses came in and I needed alterations everything changed- of course because at this point its too late for me to do anything about it. Seamstress had an attitude about any questions or discomforts you told her about. She rolled her eyes, huffed and puffed and at one point left and went into the back. The owner was no longer accommodating and nice she became defensive and arrogant. I was disappointed to say the least and would not recommend any bride or wedding party to go there. I found out later that day from the bride that the owner knows a friend of hers and she was surprised that not only me but most of her bridesmaids had a bad experience with her and her boutique. She thought we would have gotten even better attention since she kind of knew the owner. Shows her lack of professionalism and weak interpersonal skills!  As I look back to my own wedding or other wedding parties Ive been in, this was the worst service and treatment Ive ever gotten. Future brides- look into alterations and who the seamstress is at whatever bridal boutique you choose so there are no surprises!

I was recently recommended to Elena Bridal by a coworker in my office who couldn't stop raving about the shop. After shopping around on the island, I finally decided to go to Elena Bridal. And I'm soo happy I did! While it is a smaller boutique they have one of the best selection of dresses (with fabulous prices as well!!). I was able to find a dress to wear to my son's wedding that I completely love. And I feel so comfortable. The women who work there were very nice and were never pushy. They completely listened to me and understood the look I was going for. Trust me, it's worth a visit to Elena Bridal!

Excellent Experience

Great experience !! I purchased my gown for my daughter's wedding at Elena Bridal (and the Bridesmaids got their gowns from Elena's as well) -- we all were very pleased with the service we received - from the first visit to the day we picked up the gowns - and with the great selection not to mention that all of the gowns fit beautifully. Planning your daughter's wedding can be stressful, but purchasing our gowns from Elena Bridal was a fun, stressLESS experience.

Whatever you do don't purchase your dress from this shop.

Whatever you do don't purchase your dress from this shop. My mother, grandmother and I all purchased our dresses from Elena Bridal for my wedding and it was the biggest, most stressful, most upsetting mistake we ever made. We spent over ten thousand dollars there and when it was all said and done the experience was just miserable. On the day that I picked up my dress (three days before my wedding) there was a giant pull running horizontally from one side of my waist to the other. I questioned one of the "blond sisters" (can't remember their names) and she tried to explain it away as part of the fabric even though it hadn't been there before. She refused to acknowledge that it had been her fault and I had no choice but to take the dress after they attempted to "steam out the wrinkle." My grandmother's dress fell apart as she wore it on my wedding day (and it's not like granny was dancing up a storm...) and my mother's dress was a nightmare. She had a custom made dress that they kept messing up and then charging her for it. She specifically ordered a certain bead pattern and they kept “nickel and diming” her for every yard of lace and beading. Then they made her jacket too small and the beads were unraveling before we even got to the reception. If we suggested anything in order to change anything during our fittings the sisters got their backs up and were totally uncooperative, even at some points hostile. We would have gone elsewhere but they hooked us on the first visit, as we gave them half of the balance for our gowns and they would not reimburse us. I should have followed my instincts because the first day we went in and purchased our dresses there was a mother of a bride whose dress had been ruined. She was crying and the sisters kept trying to insist that they had only done what she told them even though the dress no longer fit and was not like the one she had ordered. I thought it was an isolated incident but odds are if you go there you'll be victimized too! Happy dress shopping!
