- Jim Ethridge has been in construction since 1962 when he got his start with Dan Covert Construction. When Danny Covert retired from the construction business, this presented Jim with an opportunity to start his own construction company. April 1, 1984 marks the start of D & E Construction Co Inc. The company now operates as a family owned business with father and son Jim and Dane Ethridge who continue to build some of the most recognized buildings in the Greater Meridian area.
