I have been going to Maria @ Blades for 14+ years and she has always provided excellent color, cut and waxing . Very roomy and lovely shop and professional staff. I will never go anywhere else

I've been going to Stefanie for a while now and I can honestly say I wouldn't go to anyone else! She's the only person I fully trust with my hair. I'm constantly changing my hair. I've went from red to blonde and back to brunette all within a year and she always makes it happen! Everywhere I go, people ask me who does my hair. It feels good knowing I'm going to leave the salon happy. I get so many compliments on my hair and I always recommend they go to Stefanie. She does everything! She's dyed my hair, put highlights in my hair, cut and styled my hair, dyed and waxed my eyebrows and spray tanned my whole body in one day before my graduation. She does everything! I was so ecstatic for my graduation! I've referred her to many people who have went to get their hair done by her. They are always so happy with the results. She always tells me her honest opinions about hair color and treatments and I'm confident in her judgement. That's a lot coming from someone like me too because I'm very sensitive about changes in my hair. With Stefanie, I trust her completely. She always works around my busy schedule so I know I never have to worry about waiting a long time before I can get an appointment. I highly recommend Stefanie! She's awesome!

Jeanine has been doing my hair and my daughter's hair for 2 years. I have to disagree with the negative review. I can't tell you how amazing her work is. She has done color, cuts, keratin tx and make up for us and we couldn't be happier. My daughter has very course, curly hair and what she has done with the keratin tx has changed her life an made styling much easier and built her confidence. As for professionalism, she has never cx or rs any of my appointments. I am a busy nurse and in fact she has accommodated me last minute, stayed late and always got us right in within a couple of days. She is very sweet and personable and I have never heard a negative comment come out of her mouth. All I can say is thank you Jeanine! She saved a horrible haircut I got elsewhere and I have had many compliments. Her makeup and spray tans are gorgeous and I would not hesitate for one second to ref friends and family to her.

I found Stefanie through a bridal convention. I originally met another gal but unfortunately she was booked the day of my wedding so she referred Stefanie. Stefanie was very nice the day of my trial run but as she was doing my hair she could see that I was not very pleased with the trial run but promised I would be stress free and beautiful the day of my wedding..... With that in mind I trusted her and put my face and hair completely in her hands and paid her in full ($250.00) well in advance. Keep in mind I had 6 bridesmaids and my maid of honer (half of them at $45.00 for just hair and the other half of my girls $65 for hair and make up) she originally planned to have another girl that was going to help out with us because there were so many of us..... But she decided to come without the extra help (more money in her pocket) and crammed ALL of us in before my big hour!!! NONE of my girls were happy with her. She pulled their hair into a side ponytail and curled it..... Something that each and everyone one of them could have done on their own for free. {I had a picture that I showed her as to what i wanted my girls hair to look like} My maid of honor had her re-do hers because of how terrible it was and again was not happy with it but the second time she told her that she was not happy with it Stefanie told her "I'm not doing it again". As for me the BRIDE, she squeezed me in with short of an hour/ hour and a half of having to leave my house and be ready at the sight. My hair was NOTHING I mean nothing like the picture I showed her for me, I was stressing like crazy! I was trying so hard to hold the tears in to the point to where my throat was on fire! At that point I had one of my bridesmaids call a friend of hers to come and fix my hair. The make-up...... The air brush made me look ghostly, she did NOT do my eye liner, mascara, blush or finish my eye shadow. My girlfriends friend showed up and fixed my hair to the best that she could. I was pleased with what she had done but wasn't 100% happy because it was not what I orinally imagined and wanted for one of the biggest days of my life, but she did what she could with the time she had and the up-do tat Stefanie had already started. I knoooooooow Stefanie could see the stress in my eyes and as she was packing up knowing she did not finish or have forfilled her job on her bride AND knowing that none of bridesmaids were pleased with her (because one of the bridesmaids spoke up and kindly told her) she had the nerve to ask the last bridesmaids to pay up for her hair who I had redone with Stefanie still here!!!! After all said and done I texted and called Stefanie to tell her how I felt (respectfully of course-in hopes that she would offer to some how make it up..... But NOTHING!!!! The worse service and most un professionalism ever. Going through Stefanie whom Blades of Merced represents was one of my biggest regrets and by far the worst service I had ever spent TWO HUNDRED and FIFTY on!!!!
