Stephen Tobia, M.D. is a native of Brevard County who moved back in 2010 to continue his career in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Tobia majored in Microbiology at the University of Florida. He then received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Tobia completed his residency training at Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received extensive experience in the latest office procedures, surgical techniques, and Obstetric practices. After completing his residency, Dr. Tobia remained in Pennsylvania as faculty at Magee Women's Hospital until moving to Florida. His previous career included resident teaching in the office and operating room, consultations, and acute care Obstetrics.

Do your research. Dr. Tobias' office staff (Chelsea, Christa, Krystal) jeopardized my wife's health significantly. We made it clear we had not seen a doctor and they scheduled us 12/31 (over 10 weeks pregnant) for the first appt. I asked to speak to a Manager and it was then they realized they dropped the ball and never scheduled an appt for confirmation of pregnancy. We went to Vero Beach Hospital and cancelled all of the appts. Will be filing a complaint with the state. Oh, and lastly, if youre wondering why you have to leave a message 50% of the time to schedule an appt. Is because they're apparently understaffed. You will get a call back the next business day though or just call and leave another message if they dont, that's what we did.
