I consider the focus of my work the development of a safe and trusting relationship where I can help a person discuss difficult feelings as well as identify problematic interpersonal patterns that may be getting in the way of personal goals and successful relationships. I then work closely and collaboratively with my client to develop creative and effective ways to move past these roadblocks. I am a licensed psychologist with offices in Philadelphia and Media who provides individual psychotherapy as well as psychological assessment. Though I have experience and interest working with adults of any age, I have specialized knowledge helping individuals successfully navigate the difficulties and developmental challenges of late adolescence and early adulthood. I practice psychotherapy from psychodynamic and humanistic perspectives. Each of these viewpoints deeply informs my practice and speaks to my belief that at the heart of a person?s troubles is a complex and often untold story as well as a unique potential for growth.
