Located in McMinnville, Ore., Memorial Elementary School serves students in grades kindergarten through five. It is governed by the McMinnville Public School District. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students and comprises a diverse population of students. The various subjects offered include English, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, health and physical education. In addition, the school offers foreign language, music, art and computer application classes. The facilities of the school include a library and media center, music and arts rooms and a computer laboratory. It also provides art literacy programs, speech technology lessons and student counseling. Memorial Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that supports and sponsors various programs of the school.
