The 1911 Academy Of Firearms And Training is the best gunsmithing service I have ever used. Chuck and Bryant are experts who know what your gun needs, and what it doesn't. I dropped off my beloved Browning Hi Power to be tuned up 2 weeks ago. I thought it needed certain high priced parts, and I authorized 1911 Academy to buy whatever was necessary. To my pleasant surprise, Chuck informed me that the Hi Power only needed a few inexpensive springs to get the performance I was looking for. They have definitely established trust with me, as they easily could have billed me for more. If you have any gunsmithing or gun cleaning needs, or if you want to learn in detail how to take care of your guns, I recommend them without hesitation.
