Forest Preserve District Warehouse, located in Maywood, Ill., is a storage facility operated by the Maintenance Department of Illinois. The warehouse stocks and provides building and maintenance supplies for other district facilities. The maintenance department offers maintenance services for picnic groves and other district facilities. It also provides refuse removal and cleaning services for roadway fences. The department also provides picnic tables and runs and maintains winter sports operations. It also operates a maintenance shop that coordinates the trade work, including maintaining district buildings and irrigation systems. Its well and pump section maintains and inspects the district wells, and its grounds and trails division is responsible for oversight of the trail systems in the district.
