Finally! Over the past couple of years I've had my computer serviced by a couple of other shops and have had nothing but bad experiences. Either they overcharge me or hold on to my computer for what seems like an unusually long amount of time (and then overcharge me!) So once again, my computer started acting weird.... it was taking forever just to load windows and once the screen finally came up it would take at least another five minutes before I was even able to do anything on it! It was pretty much unusable. I decided to call the Nerd Team (that's what I'll call them) to see about having them come out and take a look at it........THEY WANTED $300.00 to diagnose and repair my computer! After telling them that I wasn't going to be doing that, they said I could bring it in and save $100.00 bucks! No thanks! Shortly after that, a friend of a friend recommended the PC Doc. My friends friend had used them before and said that I wouldn't be sorry. At this point I figured what the heck I'll give it a shot...assuming that I would probably end up having another sub-par experience. WRONG! I made the call and after describing the problems I was having and answering some questions about my computer, he said they could come out within the hour and would only charge me 30 bucks to diagnose the problem. He explained that all of their services were billed at a flat rate (no hourly charges), and that most likely my computer just needed a simple tune up and that it would take about an hour. So I gave him the O.K. and the tech arrived in about 40 minutes. He was very friendly, professional, and after looking at my computer for a few minutes, he said that a simple tune up would definitely speed things back up again. He said it would be another 50 bucks for the tune up. I told him to go ahead and he went to work. Almost exactly one hour later he was done and he told me to come check it out. I started the computer and I swear this thing was never that fast before...even when it was new! It loaded right up and I got right on the internet with no problems! The tech even took the time to give me some tips on how to keep things running smooth. So for about 80 bucks I got my computer running better than I ever thought was possible
