If you go with Hamblen and Sons Heating you will get a brand new $2,937.15 furnace that does not work, and Hamblen and Sons will NOT fix the problem. It quit working on 10/16/2016 - ,26 days after installation. Tim Hamblen was contacted on 10/17/2016th about the furnace not working. He gave us the run around for 32 days and NEVER fixed the furnace. The issue was with faulty gas valve which Black Lion Heating and Air Conditioning fixed on 11/18/2016. This was at no cost since it was under warranty. Hamblen and Sons quit trying to fix the furnace they installed about 2 weeks prior to this. I could get Tim Hamblen on the phone but would be given the run around. I Highly recommend Black Lion Heating and Air Conditioning. Their number is 206-778-9854. They installed a furnace for me at a rental house about 1 month after our Hamblen and Sons Heating disaster. Their cost for exactly the same work was $2,645.74 What you also get is a larger company with a staff that can take care of any problems you might have and actually pick up the phone when you call them during business hours.
If you go with Hamblen and Sons Heating you will get the run around in the form of no returned calls and due to caller ID they won't pick up your call in the first place. In dealing with the run around by Tim Hamblen I would borrow various friends cell phones, then miraculously Tim Hamblen picks up the phone.
Finally, if you want your installer (Andrew Hamblen) not to show up for the scheduled day because he went out with his friends the night before celebrating his birthday hire Hambeln and Sons. His father, Tim, is the one who called and told me that due to partying by his son, they needed to reschedule the installation of the gas lines. He thanked me for being understanding and accommodating.
