UPDATE 4/28: We learned from another uBreakiFix location that the issue caused by the failure of the Martinsuburg location is not fixable and after speaking to the General manger for the area, were told we should get a replacement iPad. However, Junior, the manager of the Martinsburg location has since REFUSED and said that we must allow him to "send it away" and that he will NOT be replacing the iPad, despite what the General Manager said stating it "Is not up to him"

So, we took our daughter's iPad in for repair after she broke off part of the lightning cable in the charging port and we couldn't get it out. We were quoted about $150 to fix it and told they would need to send it in for repair since it involved the charging port; that it would take about a week. A week later he gave them a call to check on it. The employee he spoke to was RUDE and mocked him for expecting it to be done within the week. When my husband explained that he had been told it would be done in a week he was told to check back the following week.

It was finally done the following wee so we drove to pick it up. On the drive home, we noticed that out daughter could not access some of the apps so further research indicated the iPad was no longer connected to cellular. After a call to Verizon, we realized that the iPad no longer recognized the SIM or even recognized that it had a SIM PORT.

uBreakiFix said it couldn't POSSIBLY be as a result of something they did because "The charging port is not near the SIM" port and told us it was "Not their Problem that we should work it out with Verizon." Upon further argument, they said we could bring it back up and they would send it off to be "diagnosed" then they would let us know if they could fix it and how much.

I DO NOT recommend this place. When we dropped it off, it was cellular capable. When we picked it up, it was not. Now we are looking at having to spend even more money to take it to Apple to get it fixed.
