I took a trailer in for an inspection. I insisted that all the lights worked but none of them did. Know what the problem was? A little corrosion on the electrical plug. A couple minutes with some Q-tips and rubbing alcohol is all it took to fix the problem. Now I know! Surprised that a "mechanic" like Barry didn't even suggest such a simple, logical, obvious fix. I mean, what else could it have been? The trailer is new, and the lights worked last week. What could cause wires (coated with plastic, attached to a trailer) to spontaneously break? Sure enough, the answer is "nothing". My advice to everyone: find a real mechanic. Barry isn't one. Barry will inspect your trailer "sight unseen" if you're a frequent customer (or on his good side), but he won't even suggest simple fixes if it's Friday at 4:00. I was only there for a trailer inspection; I figured Barry could handle that much. I'd never take my vehicle there for any serious repairs. I recommend K&S Garage, or Hard Luck Auto.
