I think Kevin's ammco is great. I called them about my car not starting and they came right out to pick it up. Got it in the shop the same day. It was 2 days before I had my car back. but While it was in the shop those two days I called each day to check the stat. they informed me that they replaced the relay and the fuel pump and it seemed to be starting right up the same day that they took it in but wanted to be sure they had fixed the problem before returning it to me. Thanks Kevin's Aamco. You got my vote for machanic of the year.

I had schedule an appt two wee...

I had schedule an appt two weeks in advance, for my car to be worked on and at the end of the day they said they didn't finish it. I was like what??? I schedule my car two weeks in advance and your telling me the car isn't done. (it was a 3 hour job). Then after the car was done, I came and took it and found out that the car was making a noise under the hood, took it back the same day and they said that it was the altenator, I didn't think that was the case, so I took a look at it and found out that it wasn't the altenator as they had said. So took my car back for a third time and they took it all apart and found out that the idler pulley was bad, then they said to fix that it was like another 200 or 300 hundred dollars to fix it. The part itself was 60 some dollars, I looked that part up online when I got home and found the same part from the same retailer they were buying it from for like 20 or 30 dollars. My biggest pet peave is that I paid them almost 600 hundred dollars to have them work on my car, just for routine maintenance and to have the car come back to me making a noise that wasn't there in the first place, and them not to make it right is a really bad customer service. I would have even paid for the part, but not the labor, but they made it out to be like it was my fault. They guy behind the counter told me that I knew it was bad, I said how could I have known it was bad???? They were argumentitive with me, and I will never go back to them ever again.
