We had a fantastic experience with Dr. Phil. He was very knowledgeable about allergies as my shih tzu has been very itchy for several months.

Thank you to Andrea for assisting me in and out of the room! She deserves a big hug from me!

Very frustrated with this vet....

Very frustrated with this vet. My family used to use them growing up, so I went back when I had a dog of my own. The clinic itself is very dirty, all the time. It takes a long time until you are seen by the vet.

One of my last visits, they were taking blood from my dog and I heard him yelp (which he doesn't ever cry with shots or drawing blood, etc.) and then they let him into my room. He instantly started acting funny and scratching at his throat. I looked at him closer and he had a bulge about the size of a softball on his neck. I yelled for the vet. Apparently they nicked his blood vessel while taking blood and he was bleeding out internally. Called a hematoma. Dr. Good came in to talk to me and lied to me saying that it was a bleeding problem my dog had. Not true, he has been tested for all bleeding and clotting problems and I had test results sent to this clinic for proof. I know he lied to me, and I know that the vet tech knicked his blood vessel. My dog could have died if I had not noticed it.

This was just one of the many, awful experiences I have had with them. I have been told that a vet would be staying for when I returned to pick my dog back up, and when I arrived the vet already left the office. I did not get any updates on my dog, thinking that he had actually died in the clinic, and the customer service I received was poor.

In an effort to cancel my Partners in Wellness plan, I would no longer be going to the clinic/changing my vet for the safety of my dog, I tried to cancel the plan. The cancelation requires that I fax in a notice of cancelation as well as the clinic. I kept calling and waiting on the clinic to return my calls, as promised by the staff multiple times, but I received nothing back. Finally I received a voicemail stating that everything had been taken care of and the plan should be cancelled. The next day, they billed my account. I called back very frustrated, telling them what happened. I was then told that no, my account had not been canceled and the man in charge of that process is out of the country for two weeks. No one else would be able to help. I asked for someone else to return my call. Still no response. I have yet to receive any word back from the clinic, and I keep calling, with only more promises that my calls would be returned. Still nothing.

In short, they have lied to me, treated me very poorly, and put my dog in danger. They have no follow through, and the clinic is dirty, very dirty. I would not suggest them to anyone, and if you currently take your dog there, I would suggest a second opinion.

Town and Country is an excellent facility. My dogs see Dr, Michael Good who is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. All of the staff display both kindness and professionalism. The care of the animal is their first concern. I wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else.

We live in Kennesaw so it was to our delight that we wouldn't have to travel down to Atlanta anymore for our corgi's vet needs. Due to word of mouth my wife heard good things about Town & Country Veterinary Clinic. We've been very pleased with the level of care shown by Dr. Phil Good. We plan to travel home to northern Michigan in August to beat the heat and we feel confident that we can leave our dog in their kennel, until we return.

When I needed to get my new do...

When I needed to get my new dog some shots and was on a tight budget, I came to Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. Their rates are reasonable, and my puppy got the care she needed and I was able to afford to take care of what she needed.

Had to find a place that could...

Had to find a place that could vaccinate my Boston Terrier, Morgan, and my cat ,Starr, needed a checkup. I've been out of work, so it's not easy to pay the high vet bills. I came to Dr. Good and Dr. Fiorello because they come highly recommended and they are very affordable.

I couldn't neglect the health of my dog and cat just because money is tight, but it's good to know that this vet charges a fair rate and everyone treated me and my animals with respect and consideration. It's not easy to find a place that you can trust with your pets, but finding one that is affordable is a true challenge - this is the best vet in town, highly recommend this place.

Having just used their boardin...

Having just used their boarding services a few weeks ago, I can say that they're fantastic. I'm always really anxious to leave my cats with someone else, but I had no choice this time. I inspected every inch of my cats when I picked them up and got them home - nothing amiss. They looked well-groomed, well-fed, and well-taken care of. I was very relieved, needless to say. You don't want to trust your pets to just anyone, and I'm really glad that I now know of a place who treats animals right!

Town & Country has been the be...

Town & Country has been the best vet I have ever had. I have had dogs my entire life, but no clinic has exceeded my expectations like Town & Country has. The doctor detected some renal problems that we were able to address early on to give my oldest dog Poppy a bit longer to live and for that we are so grateful. If you want a trustworthy vet you can feel good about, I definitely recommend Town & Country.

A puppy's paradise We recently adopted a puppy, our first, and Dr. Pearce and staff have been extremely helpful from visit #1. They recommended the best food, toys, and treats for our specific breed. It is obvious that they truly care about each pet that comes through their door.

Do not take your animal to this clinic

1. Dr Good is the most unprofessional, angry, moody, dishelved person I have ever came in contact with. I was in his presence for about 10 minutes and he displayed 3 different personalities, it was the weirdness thing ever- . I have three yorkies and two were seen at T&C within a week of each other if I had I known what I know now I could have saved one from this horrific experience. I was not very pleased with the first experience, but being fair and believing in second chances proved to be a huge mistake on my end. I took one of my Yorkies in to be spayed, but in the end she had to have two surgeries, one corrective surgery to fix the first botched one. -

1. How is it possible for someone driving a brand new BMW 5 series to obtain and pay her bill using a Low cost Spay Neuter certificate when these certificates are only intended to be used by people with a low income? On top of getting a huge discount for using the certificate client also disputed credit card charges. 2. How is it possible also for someone with low income to buy a $3000 Yorkshire Terrier?(Price given verbally to us by pet owner). 3. If anyone has ever had their dog spayed in any vet clinic on the planet, then you should know that spays incisions are made in the middle part of the abdomen and there is no way to be able to cut one of her mammary glands considering that the incision is not close to it. On the other hand, there are dogs that will not born with all their mammary glands. 4. There are many different techniques for suturing a pet, in this case we used Simple interrupted suture. Compared with running sutures, interrupted sutures are easy to place, have greater tensile strength, and have less potential for causing wound edema and impaired cutaneous circulation. Interrupted sutures also allow the surgeon to make adjustments as needed to properly align wound edges as the wound is sutured. 5. Now, there where it says that dog was released without any explanations. Every person picking up a pet that had been put under anesthesia must sign an anesthesia release form where client is explained with detailed postoperative instructions. We have Ms. Complainers signature on file proving that she signed the anesthesia release form. 6. If someone tells you that they want a $3,000 compensation for damages, consider that surgery was done, dog is in perfect state of health, and credit card charges were also disputed, how would you react?. 7. Here at Town & Country our goal is to practice good medicine with compassion. That is why Dr. Good started a foundation to help abandoned pets that generally would have been euthanized and we fight every day for their cause.
