Originally from West Point, GA, Dr. Mary Wolfe Doornbos graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from UGA in 2005. She then attended the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry, where she earned her DMD degree in 2009. Dr. Doornbos practiced general dentistry for a year before pursuing additional specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in 2012, and became a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Mary is married to Dr. Grant Doornbos, a Cobb County native who is an anesthesiologist practicing in Cobb County and surrounding metro Atlanta. The Doornbos have twin boys William and Fynn, twin girls Mary Drew and Vivi, and a black lab named Buckley. She and her husband both have a special heart for medical and dental missions and have served both stateside and abroad in their respective fields. In fact, Dr. Mary and lead assistant Alexis met while serving at the Moore Pediatric Surgery Center in Guatemala City last year.
