Terrible company. Lazy drivers don't get out of truck unless it's on fire. Garbage flies out of cans and they don't care. They leave cans in the middle of the driveway so you can't pull in with a car and I live on a 45 mile/hour road. Since covid-19, won't take bulk which I continue to pay for. Hopefully Nunda township will contract with another company when the contract has ended.

I've had mdc for twenty years but the last 2 yrs they have missed picking up my garbage so many times I put their no in my phone this week they missed again I called oh we'll get it tomorrow well it has been almost a week and nine phone calls and it is still in my front yard nice health hazard looking for new service so should you

Compliments to the driver I saw here in Harvard who stepped out of the truck to retrieve a piece of trash that
had escaped.

The absolute worst thing about living in Crystal Lake is that we are forced to live with MDC as our garbage provider. All of these negative reviews are true. They make a huge mess dumping the cans and do not clean up any of it. Just leave it in the street. The garbage men are total jerks. They continue to leave the garbage cans in front of the drive way so you have to park in the street just to move them out of the way after asking them several times not to do that. I have been without garbage cans for 4 WEEKS now. They picked them up out of the blue, no notice. I called and they said there was an outstanding $25 fee. This fee was not shown on my, they claim is was mailed, which have still yet to receive. They said they were out of cans and had ordered more. They told me it might be a "week or so". Its been 4 weeks and still no cans. MDC does not care at all about customer care or satisfaction. Crystal Lake has a contract with them so there is absolutely nothing I can do. So I have to leave a bunch of garbage bags on the curb once a week. Then clean up the mess after the animals savage thru it. So disappointing.....Every neighbor I have talked to cant stand them either. But yet year after year they continue to be the only provider we can use.

Fall of 2012 put out recycle bins in October. Finally brought them back in and dumped contents into garbage in spring when they finally thawed from the snow bank. Kids care, I care. They are on my case to recycle again. Decide to pay the $3 a month fee for there supplied recycle cart. There it sits all of October again now into November. Guess I will bring it in still full in the spring. Waste management makes money on recycling Marengo can't? Can't even pay extra to get them to pick up. Time to legislate them out of here or get Mchenry county to start doing something.

Really went down hill since Rock River Environmental took them over. I have recycled for years and now, for whatever reason (and the office manager can't explain why), they do not pick up my recycling. They will pick up the garbage, but the truck that picks up the recycling just passes by my service address. After this has gone on for weeks and my repeated phone calls got me no where, I have told them to pick up the worthless green recycling container they provided (but refuse to collect) and recycled items are now going in with the regular garbage. What a waste!

There are so many things we have to worry about and trash pickup should not be one of them. Unfortunately they monopolize the area and can do what they want. There have been days were the trash was not picked up and was told it was put out to late. I brought the trash out in the morning and the garbage man looked right at me. The say you get one piece of extra trash for free, for up to 6 different occasions. Then I get a bill for $40. It 's a shame.

I wish I could pick another company. They pick up our trash only when they feel like it. We pay our bill and they spill trash out on the ground and don't pick it up. This company is horrible. But what are we going to do cause we can't choose to go with another company, and they don't care about us. Yes watch your bills they will change without notice.

I do not like marengo garbage disposal but unfortunately we are stuck with them where we live we have no other choice or believe me I would NEVER pick them...WATCH your bills carefully because they rip you off ..there attitude is oh well where else you going to go hahahahaha they can change or add $$$ just for the hell of it ...bunch of scammers-
