Finally a tuxedo store where you can TRY ON tuxedos. Rochester is not a catalog store. They have the inventory on the premises and the sales people are the owners of the store. My fiance and I spent about 45 min to and hour trying all different outfits on for our wedding and actually saw what we were getting. While we were there other customers came in and their affair was that night and were fitted in a tuxedo and out the door in about 10 minutes. They were very knowledgeable and took interest in their business. We would highly recomend they for any formal occasion.

We got measured in Chicago at one of the chain stores and sent the measurements to the local MW tux store. Our flight was delayed and we went to pickup the tux Sat morning. My husband tried it on and NOTHING fit except for the tie. They said that there was nothing that they could do for us even though it was their mistake. I "googled" tuxedos on my phone and found ROCHESTER FORMAL WEAR right up the street. I called them and was told to come right over. When we arrived they had tuxedos in stock. My husband was given everything he needed and we were in and out in 10 MINUITES. Rochester saved the day. We have no idea why anyone would go to a mall tuxedo rental store. And to put the cherry on top they were alot LESS EXPENSIVE and they even picked the tuxedo at our hotel for us since we were leaving on Sunday. THANK YOU ROCHESTER

We went to ROCHESTER FORMAL WEAR after we were disapointed by one on the Big Box chain stores. We walked in and they had inventory IN STOCK to try on. Coats, pants, vests,shirts etc., everything we needed. While we were there, other customers we coming in for SAME DAY SERVICE. They were in and out within 10 minutes. They are truly a TUXEDO STORE, not a catalog store like the big box chains. We found out that it is a fourth generation store 1903. When it comes to customer service they, wrote the book.
