It is worth the money if you get what you want but that doesn't happen!I did buy in tried to get out within the 3 day period but was talked out of it!I had a timeshare they got that and my money and I couldn't get what I wanted as far as vacations go!Very frustrating trying to get a vacation that you want when you want it!I was a timeshare owner and always exchanged for what I wanted so I know what I am doing! They tell you they have thousands of place in inventory to use not true! One day I spent 4 hours trying to book a vacation that I wanted didn't happen! It's good if you want to go to the Dominican or Florida but other places in the Caribbean not so much luck. I have to say the people that work there are very nice and try to be as helpful as they can but that doesn't make me want to stay in.

When we first went there and listened to the pitch I looked at my husband and I said your not considering this are you?He said yeah this is great so I said to myself maybe he's getting something I'm not. What I should of done was excused ourselves walked outside and talked it over or went home try to book and if you don't get what you want call and cancel I know I did try to get out on the 3rd day but they did get me what I wanted but I think that was a one time deal it was like a smoke screen to stay in!

If you like Florida' Dominican or Puerto Rico it's a good deal but those are not my choices.

I don't believe they have all the inventory they say!If they were on the up and up they would let people out of there contracts after the 3 day period if they are not happy or refund them back half their money to save face! Just saying

I also got the sales pitch phone call today claiming I've won 1 of 3 different prizes, in my head during the whole thing I questioned if this was legit and knew I would be doing some research first before saying I would go to the presentation, so thank you all for writing how it is a bunch of b.s. I quickly called back and said I would not be attending. And as for all the 5 star ratings on page they seem fake, like they wrote them themselves.

After reading reviews it looks like I dodged a bullet. Not sure how they got my number but when I answered, he just said that he was from Premium destinations and pretty much immediately hung up.

I just want to thank everyone for their input. You are all model citizens! I received a postcard that mentioned nothing about this company. It only said that I was chosen to receive a free stay at Great Wolf Lodge. I called and was given this address, so I checked into it. The person on he phone did mention about the taxes and fees which made me skeptical. I called back and cancelled my tentative appointment with these jackasses. I'll also enter my one-star since I can't enter zero. We need to bring these hucksters down.

I was offered a free 8 day 7 night cruise valued at $1900 plus round trip airfare for 2 adults. I was assured I didn't have to buy anything, just listen to their 90 minute presentation and walk away with the cruise and air fare. We had to drive 45 minutes each way but we figured it was worth it for a free cruise. We had an awful time finding the place. The building was not clearly marked and it was a dark rainy night. We arrived 10 minutes late for our presentation. We were told to look for a company called Discount Vacation Destinations, there was nothing like that listed on the directory but there was a Premium Destinations LLC. The office was unlocked but the lights were off. I walked in a called "Hello" and several people with their coats on came out of a back room. I explained we had a 5:30 appointment and had gotten lost and apologized for being 10 minutes late. They told me they had sent their staff home because no one had showed up for the 5:30 presentation even though 12 couples were booked. They told us we were welcome to come back for another presentation but couldn't give us our gifts because we hadn't actually attended the presentation. There were at least 5 staff there and we had driven 45 minutes, so there was no reason they couldn't give us the presentation except it was apparent that none of them wanted to stay. When we were leaving one of the staff came out in the hallway and pulled their sign off the wall and walked back toward the office. My boyfriend said "Oh your own of those companies, huh? We buy from you one day and come back looking for you the next and you've folded up shop." The guy gave us some lame excuse about having a problem with people stealing their signs, but seriously? They are in the basement of a locked office building. Who is going to come in and steal a cardboard sign that says Premium Destinations? I remarked to my boyfriend that the whole thing seemed seedy. After coming home and reading the reviews on this and several other sites, I think we dodged a bullet. All we lost was 45 minutes of our time and gas money. Could have been a lot worse! Remember if someone offers something to good to be true, it probably is!

testing but how do I rate it. ...

My Experience is similar to Justin S's review from 6/25/2014.

I went with my wife yesterday to this sales presentation in Mansfield,MA. Though they said "this is not a timeshare...." it is very similar. Its a "Vacation Club". They bribed us to come with 2 round trip airline "Vouchers" and a 3D/2N vacation - we're expected to pay all "taxes and fees" which they've assured us, will not exceed $120 / person for airfare. Yet to see how it actually works or doesn't work.

Peter, our sales person, told us all the facts while carefully avoiding any mention of downsides - as all salesmen do. Then we went to a 40 minute video presentation with "Robert" the "Funny Guy". He was indeed very funny. I was satisfied with both of them - - but then again, I didn't expect them to give me the "disadvantages" anyway :).

The one time cost for the membership is like $15,000 + $389 (Activity Fee) and $325 (Doc Fee) for a package called "6 stars". When you want book a condo for 1 week , peak time you have to "Spend" 3 stars for 2Bed or 2 stars for 1Bed. non-peak , you'll spend 2*'s and 1* respectively. Each booking will cost $179 on their website. They also threw in 3 "Expressway" (like 'getaways' from the timeshareworld). When we told them we vacation about 2 weeks an year --- quickly brought down the price to 5000 for 2* (yearly you get 2 stars) or 6000 for 3* package and "Waived" the Activity Fee for 1st year and Documentation fee. Expressway (vacations) are $378 per week.

They claim they're a 41 yr old company into their 42nd year with 215,000 members.

Advantages:

1. Activity Fee of $389 every year you "Choose" to book a vacation.

If you dont book in a year. you dont pay. If you NEVER BOOK AGAIN

with them, you'll never have to pay a dime. Very different from the

"Maintenance Fee" from TS world.

2. 1 week booking will cost you 1/2/3 stars from your yearly quota + 179

(Every booking) + the $389 (only once a year)

3. Expressway weeks will cost you $378 per week. can be booked only 24 hrs to 60 days in advance. you can use a "star" from your quota, it will knock off $200 from the price tab, bringing it to $179 (same as #1 above).

4. They claim that you can get cruises and air-fares at 5% "UPTO" 30% discount.

5. It is a "Lifetime" membership transferrable to your kids. Again, if you dont book in a year --- you dont have to pay anything in that year.

Disadvantages:

1. There's no guarantee that you'll be able to "GET" the week you want and "WHERE" you want it. they'll claim that they'll GET it to you so long as you give them 120 days heads up - but practically - I'd first TRY to book myself, Complete my vacation a few times --- and only then agree with them.

2. Cost of membership is very high ~ 10K for 6* membership. For us with 2 small school age kids, we can only get out in the "Peak" weeks when school is out of session - costing us atleast 2 (1bed) or 3 stars (2bed) per 1 week of booking.

3. Nothing less than 1 week is available.

4. There's no "try before you buy" possibility. What if I dont like it for whatever reason ? .... there's no "OUT". you'll lose your "Membership" money. Fortunately see Advt #1 above --- you dont have to pay them ever again --- if you just forget about them altogether :). This is still a very high cost ~10K to "Try them out".

5. Hi pressure sales tactic --- they dont want you to leave without buying.

6. "life" -- though they claim this is "Lifetime" + transferrable to your kids --- who really thinks in todays world that a company will live perpetually ? assign a realistic "life" for this company and then base your #'s on that. What if they file bankruptcy tomorrow??? Its a No-name company with a shady website.

7. There's no clear mention of which all properties they've access to. Say you want to book in Boston --- they dont have anything --- they'll just give you a std 10% discount over published retail rates on existing hotels in Boston.

I don't regularly attend this type of promotional meeting. I convinced my husband to give it a try. BIG waste of our time. It was not 90minutes but 3 hours! Our 'prize' of 4 days/3nights would actually cost us $200 to book! The $50 dining card was also useless! Wish I had never gone. Ridiculous movie as well about a couple that put off travel and then the wife dies. Aweful and shameful that these people are allowed to set up a business. Stay away, far away!

something in my gut was telling me this wasn't right

My wife and I talked to a couple of their recruiters while they were at an event on Cape Cod. They had a spin wheel with prizes to get our attention. We spun and won a $75 gift card and a 8 day 7 night condo stay at a location of our choosing. But we had to go to the sales presentation in Mansfield to claim our prizes as well as sit through a 90 minute presentation. So we checked it out last night. When we first arrived, we checked in at the desk with another 12 couples and sat in lobby watching a video montage of Las Vegas. Then individual sales people would come out and be assigned to each couple. After our guy had called for us we sat down in the refreshments room at an individual table. The sales guy was very over excited and was telling us that we're about to watch the best presentation ever, but assured us that there is no obligation to buy. We walked into the presentation room and were assured again that there is no obligation to buy and if we participated we could get our gifts and be out in 45 mins. This presentation started at 5:45. We didn't get out till 7:30. After walking out, our individual sales rep sat down with us again at the table and started charming us up again. He brought us to a big screen and showed us how their website worked. The one time cost for the membership is like $14,000 if you buy today but after the manager and the presentation guy was brought to us, they marked it down to $5000. We were told that the price was only good today. They had a finance manager ready in place as well if you couldn't afford the lump sum. A couple people did buy in and they made announcements in front of everyone when they did. Something in me was just telling me this wasn't right. They claim this membership works like a whole sale but couldn't tell me what the difference was between them and a regular travel company or AAA. Plus if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is, and $159 for a condo for a week in any place we wanted seems very far fetched. Things there were kind of weird too. My sales consultant seemed like a bad sales car guy with a fake laugh and when I stepped out to go to the bathroom he came with me and waited outside, only a couple steps from the room we were just in. I noticed another sales guy was doing the same for his client. After talking with my wife and getting her approval, I said no to the plan. Every excuse I had there was a rebuttal and they would then lower the price again. The manager and presenter were brought back and kept trying to sell us. Our sales consultant went from a really happy guy, to someone who was very disappointed and couldn't get us out quick enough. Eventually we had to sign a form saying that they offered us this stuff and we declined. Our sales consultant then handed us our $75 gift card and information about the condo trip we won which requires a $100 deposit. We left around 8:30pm. It takes great strength and determination to say no, but I tell you, I'm not regretting it like I would have if I bought. But boy do they make you feel terrible if you don't buy!

After listening to this company's presentation, I received a free electronic tablet! Many travel companies offer similar "free" gifts, but Premium Destinations actually came through. The staff was very knowledgable and professional. Highly recommended.

Well, I went to speak with them about planning a vacation during my kid's spring break this year and they put together quite a package! We had a great time and I hope others find this review helpful.
